Itinerary Overview
I spent four amazing days in Tokyo, the capital of Japan and one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world. I explored the modern and traditional sides of this metropolis, visiting ancient temples, futuristic skyscrapers, lively shopping districts, and serene gardens. I also took a day trip to Nikko, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with stunning shrines and natural scenery. Tokyo was a feast for the senses and a dream destination for any traveler.
Important Notes Before Traveling
• The best way to get around Tokyo is by using the subway and train system, which is efficient, convenient, and affordable. You can buy a prepaid card like Suica or Pasmo to avoid buying tickets every time.
• Tokyo is a huge city with many attractions, so it’s impossible to see everything in four days. I suggest choosing a few areas that interest you and exploring them in depth, rather than rushing from one place to another.
